The Alchemist...

Since I've read this book before, about a year ago. I remember I was in Santa Barbara when I was strolling in this adorable little cafe/bookstore, I have heard this book was a international bestseller. AND SO i GOT IT!<3

Santiago is a sheperd who loves to travel the world with his flock of sheep. He has the same dream twice and the dream has a meaning to what happens next...
He is on his quest to find his Personal Legend: a hidden treasure...

The similarities to the other book we read:Heroes, Gods, and Monsters.
And the movie we've seen: Pan's Labyrinth. They are similar because, each main character must go seek out they're destiny/fate/Personal Legend. I personally think that Santiago's journey is the best of all.

So far...

The book we read this year was wierd... It was "Heroes, God, and Monsters." Ugh.
The stories were interesting.... But, the author could have tried to write the book in more detail.
And the illustrator, he had horrible art... I could have drawn something better.
Not to brag and all....

I really liked the story of Perseus and Icarus.
They were cool I guess.
But my all time favorite god is Hades and his awesome hellhound Cerberus.
I would love to create an underworld, where all souls of sins go.
And my BFF Juliet, she writes stories about Hades and his servants.
I love reading her stories.
